November 1955 - December 2015

Obituary Notices of Fellows of the Royal Society were published from 1932 as a continuation of tributes that appeared in the Society's Proceedings. This change was duly recognized by a change of title to Biographical Memoirs of Fellows of the Royal Society in 1955, when the new annual carried life studies of Albert Einstein, Enrico Fermi and Alan Turing.
