Peter J. Lawrenson

Abstract

Thomas Edward Allibone was a man who was small in physical stature but enormous in intellect, energy, enthusiasm and breadth of interests, and stimulating, supportive and generous to all who worked with him. They actively demonstrated respect and affection for him to theends of their lives (or his). For the Royal Society his publications spanned the years from 1926 (aged 23) to 1999, and he was a stalwart in other ways.
